Yankee Candles
One things certains; FHSelect know their Yankee Candles. As one of the UK's largest suppliers of Yankee they have an indepth knowledge of Yankee products.
FHSelect supply several different mankes of scented candles and home fragrance products, but by for their largest range is Yankee Candles. Owner Graham Bell remembers the reasons for selecting Yankee as their primary product range. "We'd been selling incense and essential oils for a while on our Fragrant Home site, but our realy love was scented candles. So, we started to stock candles from the lowever end of the market, those which cost about £2.50. Unfortauntely they weren't very fragrant and we were not happy selling on something we didn't like ourselves. We've always used Yankee Candles ourselves at home. Unfortunately they're not always easy to buy, the odd garden centre will stock as few fragrances in maybe wax tarts and large candles, but trying to get a good selection was increasingly difficult. We purchased from some online retailers in the past and felt we could do better! We've our love of scented candles and my knowledge of IT it seemed a perfect marriage."
But why "FHSelect"?
"The name FHSelect came from being Fragrant Home Select, as in Fragrant Home's higher quality product line. It proved so popular we dropped the Fragrant Home site to concerntrate on the higher quality candle market."
The Best Quality at the Best Prices
From the very begining FHSelect have been at the fore-front of value in their specific market. The original idea with Fragrant Home was to stock the hgh and sell them cheap and this worked for a while. Unfortunately it didn't sit well with the owners.
"We want to be the supplier of choice to our customers, we also want to offer them the best possible prices, not ownly for the products but delivery costs too. Were ever we can we offer free delivery on items. This is more possible with smaller items such as wax tarts and car jars."
FHSelect recently extended the products in their Ebay store.
"Our Ebay store was always a challenge. We run our business from home and were selling through our FHSelect website, we could see the massive potenital of Ebay and felt we certainly had the product portfolio to suit, but we needed some technical help. Initially our Ebay website was completely seperate from our main site, stock was not consistant across to two. However, we've recently implemented a link between the two where our Ebay customers can checkout securely via our own site, this allows them to select from our larger range of products before proceeding to payment. It always enable our Ebay sales to be hooked into our customer loyalty points scheme.
Customer Loyalty - The Key To Success
FHSelect are serious when it comes to customer loyalty, as Bell explains;
"Something we're passionate about is customer loyalty. It's one of the things we love about Ebay, you get feedback! If a customers happy, they tell you, if you've not come up to scratch they also let you know in not uncertain terms!"
